Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Mecker Capital operates a Signal API that provides statistical arbitrage trading signals, pair evaluations, position sizing outputs, and related market data for crypto perpetual futures. The service is accessible via REST API and Model Context Protocol (MCP). It is a data product, not a trading platform. We do not execute trades, hold funds, or manage portfolios on your behalf.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, subscribing to any plan, or making API calls (including via x402 pay-per-call), you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service complies with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

4. Accounts and API Keys

You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. Do not share, publish, or embed your key in client-side code. We may revoke keys that are compromised, abused, or used in violation of these terms. One subscription corresponds to one API key. Sharing keys across multiple users or applications is not permitted.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid plans (Developer, Pro) are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months. Prices may change with 30 days notice. Subscribers on early-adopter pricing are grandfathered at their original rate.

Pay-per-call access via x402 (USDC on Base) is charged per API call at the rate displayed in the tool description. On-chain transactions are final and non-reversible.

6. Pro Tier Capacity Limit

The Pro tier is limited to 20 active subscribers to preserve signal quality. When the cap is reached, new Pro subscriptions are placed on a waitlist. We reserve the right to adjust this cap.

7. Not Financial Advice

The Signal API is a data product. Signals, z-scores, regime classifications, position sizing outputs, backtest statistics, and all other data provided through this service are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other kind of advice. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions. Past performance, including backtest results, does not guarantee future results.

8. No Guarantees

We provide the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data. Signals may be delayed, incorrect, or unavailable due to market conditions, data provider issues, or system maintenance. We do not guarantee any specific financial outcome.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mecker Capital and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or trading losses, arising from your use of the service.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer the API to extract proprietary parameters or methodology.
  • Redistribute API data to third parties as a competing service.
  • Exceed rate limits or circumvent access controls.
  • Use the service for market manipulation or any unlawful purpose.

11. Intellectual Property

All trading methodologies, signal generation logic, calibration parameters, and proprietary algorithms remain the exclusive property of Mecker Capital. API outputs (z-scores, signals, sizing) are licensed for your personal or internal use only.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms, abuse of the service, or at our discretion. In case of termination for cause, no refund is owed for the current billing period.

13. Modifications

We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.
